The Founder's Cup 2025 - Newer Curler Registration

The wait is over—The Founder's Cup is back! Get ready to hit the ice and experience the perfect blend of competition, camaraderie, and curling fun.This event is for Windy City Curling members and those who have completed a Rookie League at Windy City Curling in the last 12 months. 

Whether you're a seasoned curler or a rookie just getting started, this event is designed to bring curlers of all levels together for a unique and exciting bonspiel experience.

• Rookies & New Curlers: This is your moment to shine! Meet fellow club members, soak in the Windy City Curling spirit, and get a taste of higher-level competition or bonspiel play.
• Experienced Veterans: Time to showcase your skills and connect with our growing community of curlers. Let’s inspire the next generation!
• Balanced Teams: To keep things fair and fun, teams will be crafted with a mix of experience levels—perfect for learning, improving, and building connections.

Event Details:

• Dates: May 7–10
• Draws: 3 per team (2 games Wednesday–Friday at 6:30 and 8:45, plus at least one Saturday game)
• Location: Windy City Curling
• Fee: $25
• Cap: First 32 curlers to sign up

Registration Guidelines:

• Sign up as an individual and enjoy the chance to meet new teammates (newer curlers can request one teammate or a spouse / partner).
• Committee-selected skips will lead each team.
• Teams will include a balanced mix of rookies, newer curlers, and experienced players.
• No Wednesday night competitive curlers will pair with their regular teammates

• A vibrant social scene, featuring refreshments, Saturday night entertainment, and great company.
• Our Saturday Annual Meeting, where we’ll toast to outgoing board members and welcome new ones.
