Find Us
Windy City Curling is located at
Our Two Entrances
The Front Entrance
The Easiest to Spot
Our main storefront faces Roosevelt Road, in the same strip mall as the Burlington Coat Factory.
If you‘re coming from the East (off of I-294): Turn right onto Ardmore Avenue, and the access road to us will be behind Simon’s Restaurant.
If you happen to pass that, no worries! Look to your right for Bob’s Discount Furniture. At that next stoplight (just past the Starbucks), turn right, and you’ll hit the front parking easy-peasy.
If you‘re coming up Roosevelt Road from the West: we’ll be on your left. You can either, turn into the parking lot at stoplight immediately after the Sonic (before the the Starbucks), or, turn left onto Ardmore Avenue and find the access road behind Simon’s.
Either way, our front door is in the recessed strip mall, right underneath the big red "CURLING" sign. It’s happily sandwiched between the GameStop and Dental Care Center.
This is our most visible entrance to find, and comes with plenty of parking out front. This door leads down some stairs, right into our Warm Room.
The Back Door
Located Behind the Strip Mall (Seriously.)
The rear entrance is located Behind the Strip Mall. This door is wheelchair accessible, and the one most of our members use.
If you check the map above, you’ll see the road to find it is accessed either by going around the Sally Beauty Supply (off the side of the Dollar Tree); or by turning in from Ardmore Avenue, and then using the road behind Simon’s Restaurant.
Parking in the back can be limited, but this lot is always well-lit during league hours. Despite its location, it’s actually rather inviting, and leads right into the Warm Room.
During the snowy months, this is the door we ask our members to use, so they can leave their street shoes off to the side. This helps us maintain the ice, by greatly limiting how much road/rock salt is tracked into the club.
In the warmer months, it’s not uncommon to see our members broomstack outside to enjoy the nice weather before and after a draw.
