The Food Truck Summer Open Bonspiel is Back!
Summer’s calling and it sounds like rocks crashing and Jello shots landing! The Windy City Curling Food Truck Open is back for 2026, serving up a weekend of curling, cold drinks, killer eats, and backyard chaos. Sun’s out, brooms out… let’s get weird.
- WHEN: THURS AUGUST 27, 2026 - SUN AUGUST 30, 2026
- FORMAT: Open - Any mix of genders/order, *32 Teams - 3 Game Guarantee **
- DRAWS START THURS MORNING
- COST: General registration opens 5/25/26 ($400/team or $100/individual), After 6/15/26 ($440/$110)

Individual registrants will be paired at our discretion. Who knows? You might meet your new curling Bestie.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
- SHENANIGANS: Much, often and with flare . . . No pun intended ;-) . . . Stay tuned for details.
- BOOZE: Unlimited select alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages provided all day while supplies last. Cash Bar for specialty drinks.

FOOD TRUCKS: are scheduled for Friday (Dinner) and Saturday (Lunch and Dinner), and are "pay your own way." Please plan on supporting the food trucks as much as possible, to minimize any extra costs when minimums aren't met. Your entry fee also Includes:

Skills Camp 2026
WINDY CITY CURLING's SKILLS CAMP IS BACK FOR ROUND #4!
DETAILS: Join us at Windy City Curling the weekend of September 4-6, 2026 for an
The camp runs Friday afternoon (starting around 1:00 pm), Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning (until about noon-or-so). In short: it follows the timing of a typical weekend bonspiel. Meals and snacks are included, and social time is encouraged.
While the actual content will be tailored to your ability, sessions will include: balance/delivery basics, line of delivery, release, sweeping, communication, weight control, timing and judging, strategy, reading the ice, angles, skipping, team dynamics, mental toughness, and more.
PRICING: $465 per person. Your $125 deposit secures your spot in the camp. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you once registration closes (likely end-of-August or early September).
NEW THIS YEAR: Responding to feedback from previous camps, this year's event will start earlier on Friday afternoon, and include another instructor for more personal attention during ice-sessions.
HEADS-UP for OUT-OF-TOWNERS: Windy City Curling members have priority registration until noon on Monday, June 1, 2026. After that, the Skills Camp opens up to everyone. As of right now, we do not have any sort of hotel room block reserved, so you would have to seek out your own local accomodations during your stay.
