Find Us
Windy City Curling is located at
Our Two Entrances
The Front Entrance
The Easiest to Spot
Our main storefront faces Roosevelt Road, in the same strip mall as the Burlington Coat Factory.
If you‘re coming from the East (off of I-294):
Turn right onto Ardmore Avenue, and the access road to us will be behind Simon’s Restaurant.
If you happen to pass Ardmore, no worries! Look to your right for Bob’s Discount Furniture. At that next stoplight (just past the Starbucks), turn right, and you’ll hit the front parking lot easy-peasy.
If you‘re coming on Roosevelt Road from the West:
Windy City Curling will be on your left. You can either turn into the parking lot at the stoplight immediately after the Sonic (before the the Starbucks), or turn left onto Ardmore Avenue and find the access road behind Simon’s Restaurant.
Either way, our front door is in the recessed strip mall, right underneath the big red "CURLING" sign. It’s happily sandwiched between GameStop and Dental Care Center.
This is our most visible entrance to find and comes with plenty of parking.
Note: This door leads down a staircase into our Warm Room. It is NOT wheelchair accessible.
The Back Door
Located Behind the Strip Mall (Seriously.)
Our rear entrance is located on the backside of the strip mall. This door IS wheelchair accessible, and the door our members use.
If you check the map above, you’ll see it's accessed either by going around the side of the Dollar Tree, or by using the road behind Simon’s Restaurant off Ardmore Avenue.
Parking in the back is limited, but this lot is always well-lit during league hours. Despite its location, it’s actually rather inviting, and leads right into the Warm Room.
This is the door we everyone to use when snow is on the ground, so people can leave their street shoes in the cubbies and on the rugs we keep right inside. This limits the amount of salt gets tracked into the club, helping us maintain the curling ice.
In warmer months, it’s not uncommon to see our members broomstack outside this door to enjoy the nice weather before and after a draw.
