We offer a variety of leagues that accommodate a wide range of curlers. So, whether you’re a recreational player or someone competitive; if you’re 6, 106 or somewhere in-between, Windy City Curling is sure to have a league suitable for you.
Windy City Curling 2022-2023 Leagues
Please note that for Sessions 1-4 an annual membership is required to sign up for leagues - this can be a Regular Membership ($110), Junior Membership ($50) or Dual Membership ($50). This is a one time cost that covers administrative items such as on-ice insurance, USA Curling and Midwest Curling dues, and your member T-shirt. Rookie League Session 1 (9/11/22-10/2/22)
Rookies League welcomes newcomers who have either completed a Learn 2 Curl class, or are still at Beginner experience level looking to understand the basics of curling better. This is for those who have participated in a Learn to Curl, still getting their feet wet, and want to get to ready to move into regular league play. Teams consist of four players of any gender combination.
This league consists of a 4-week curriculum to let new players join at any time during the season. After completing four rookie league nights, players "graduate" and are encouraged to join a regular session team.

Thursday Evening - Open Competitive - Session 3 & 4 - 1/5/23 - 4/20/23 (15 games)
Open - Competitive leagues welcome players of all experience levels. However, teams in the competitive league are self-formed, meaning there is no guidance from the League Coordinator to provide competitive balance. Teams consist of four players and can have any combination of males and females including all male or all female teams.
There is a maximum of twelve teams in this league. All signups will be taken as a complete team. Participants are encouraged to recruit players from within the club ranks to form teams as they see fit.
Playoff format will be announced prior to the first week of play and will depend on the number of teams in the league. The league champion will earn a spot in our end of season championship event.
Draws will be held at either 6:30 or 8:45pm during the Winter/Spring season.

Doubles leagues welcome players of all experience levels, including those who are brand-new to the game. Teams consist of two players.
There is a maximum of 12 teams in this league. All signups will be taken as a complete team. Participants are encouraged to recruit players from within the club ranks to form teams as they see fit.
This is an 8 week league. Playoff style will vary depending on number of registered teams.
Draws will be held at either 6:30 or 8:30pm. We will do our best to accommodate scheduling requests in the event of two draw times. Draw time will consolidate to 7pm if there is not enough demand for 2 draw times.

Tuesday Evening - Mixed - Session 4 - 3/7/23 - 4/25/23 (8 games)
Mixed leagues welcome players of all experience levels. However, teams in the mixed leagues must consist of two men and two women, and all shooters must alternate according to gender: either male-female-male-female or female-male-female-male is acceptable.
There is a maximum of 12 teams in this league. All signups will be taken as a complete team. Participants are encouraged to recruit players from within the club ranks to form teams as they see fit.
This league will include a 6 week round robin which will determine seeding for a semi final draw on the 7th week. On week 8 a league champion will be decided (1v2, 3v4, 5v6 etc.) Regular session play and playoffs may be adjusted depending on total number of teams registered.
Draws will be held at either 6:30pm or 9:00 pm, depending on demand. Draws may be consolidated to 7pm if demand does not exceed 6 teams.
