We offer a variety of leagues that accommodate a wide range of curlers. So, whether you’re a recreational player or someone competitive; if you’re 6, 106 or somewhere in-between, Windy City Curling is sure to have a league suitable for you.
Windy City Curling 2025-2026 Leagues

Wednesday Competitive - Winter 2026 (Session 3&4) - 1/7/26 - 4/15/26 (15 weeks)
ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Wednesday Competitive is s a competitive league for intermediate through experienced curlers. Registration requires a full team*, with an Open format. While anyone can form a team, newer curlers are encouraged to join an experienced team to hone their skills rather than creating their own.
FORMAT: Competitive League is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
There is a maximum of 13 teams allowed for this league. Teams are self-formed, and participants are encouraged to recruit players from within the club membership to form teams.
*Teams of five will be accepted.
The first player to sign-up must first "Register My Team" in the system to get a 'Team Code,' which they will need to share with only their teammates. All players will need this code when they "Join a Team" so they're placed on the correct roster. Teams are allowed to register with five players.
(Note: The player who creates the team must also then go back and use the code they received to "Join a Team" and complete their own registration. The system does not automatically assign them to the team they created.)
PLAYOFF FORMAT: This will be announced within the first two weeks of play, based on the number of registered teams. Each team will be expected to complete a Draw Shot Challenge during regular session play, which will be used as a tie-breaker during Playoffs.
DRAW TIMES: Wednesdays at 6:30pm and 8:45pm
(Note: If there are not enough teams to support two draw times; games will be consolidated into one draw time at 7:00pm.)
PAY PER LEAGUE PRICE: $600

Sunday Brunch - Winter 2026 (Session 4) - 3/15/26 - 4/19/26 (5 weeks)
ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Sunday Brunch is a recreational league suitable for all curlers. Sign up as an individual and note anyone you would like to play with, and the Draw Master will create teams based on overall registration. Games are typically 6 ends, followed by a potluck brunch.
FORMAT: Brunch League is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of either 6 -or- 8 ends (teams will decide the game length among themselves before the start of that week's draw).
This league allows for a maximum of 6 teams (24 players).
All players register as individuals. Teammates may be requested during sign-up. The League Drawmaster will do their best to honor these requests.
DRAW TIME: Sundays at 9:00am
OFF WEEKS: There will be no league games on Sunday, April 5th

This league allows for a maximum of 6 teams (24 players).
All players register as individuals. Teammates may be requested during sign-up. The League Drawmaster will do their best to honor these requests.

Monday Doubles - Winter 2026 (Session 4) - 3/2/26 - 4/20/26 (8 weeks)
ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Monday Night Doubles is recommended for intermediate to experienced curlers. Teams can consist of any combination of players. Registration requires a full team of two - one member must register the team, and then provide the Team Code to the other member. While beginner curlers may participate, advanced skills such as throwing with a broom and slider sweeping greatly enhance a player’s gameplay. Playoff format will be determined by the number of teams registered each session.
FORMAT: Monday Night Doubles is Open Format (allowing teams to be any comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
This league allows for a maximum of 12 teams (24 players).

Tuesday Mixed - Winter 2026 (Session 4) - 3/3/26 - 4/21/26 (8 weeks)
ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Tuesday Evening Mixed is recommended for all skill levels. Teams consist of two men and two women playing in alternating order. This league has a strong social component while maintaining a semi-competitive atmosphere.
FORMAT: Mixed League requires all teams consist of two men and two women, who alternate throwing order according to gender. Games will consist of 8 ends.
Registration Notes (PLEASE READ) – Curlers will register as an individual and you will list any teammates you want to curl with. Priority will be given in forming teams in the following order:
- A team of 4 curlers that list all members of their team (requiring two curlers of each gender).
- An individual curler that lists at least one curler of the opposite gender in their registration.
- An individual curler.
Note that no teams will be formed that have more than two members of the same gender. The Draw Master may form a team of three curlers so long as there is at least one member of each gender.

Thursday Balanced - Winter 2026 (Session 4) - 3/5/26 - 4/16/26 (7 weeks)
ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Thursday Evening Balanced League is a recreational league suitable for all curlers. Players sign up individually and may request one teammate. The Draw Master will form balanced teams by pairing newer members with experienced players. This league is an excellent next step for those who have completed a rookie league and are looking to meet new members.
FORMAT: Thursday Balanced is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
This league allows for a maximum of 12 teams (48 players).
All players register as individuals. Participants may request one (1) teammate during sign-up. The League Drawmaster will do their best to honor requests.
DRAW TIMES: Thursdays at 6:30pm and 8:45pm

ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: This is a recreational league suitable for all curlers. Players can sign up as a team (list all team members during registration) or an individual (with the option to request other players), and the Draw Master will assign teams.
With its strong social atmosphere, this league is an excellent next step for newer curlers who have completed a rookie league and want to meet new members.
FORMAT: Friday Happy Hour is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
This league allows for a maximum of 6 teams (24 players).
DRAW TIMES: Fridays at 4:30pm
PAY PER LEAGUE PRICE: $240

FORMAT: Sunday Evening League is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
