Sunday Brunch - Fall 2026 (Session 1) - 9/13/26 - 10/18/26 (5 weeks)
ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Sunday Brunch welcomes players of all experience and ability levels, including people brand-new to curling. This league is designed to be friendly, casual, and fun! Players are encouraged to bring a breakfast item to share each week. So come play your best without stressing over the competition. Win or lose, everyone gets to enjoy snacks after the game.
All curlers are asked to demonstrate proper on-ice etiquette. This includes practicing 'ready curling' to keep the game moving at a good pace (roughly 15 minutes per end). Every week we need at least two league members to arrive 20 minutes before the first draw to help sweep and run the rock box.
FORMAT: Brunch League is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of either 6 -or- 8 ends (teams will decide the game length among themselves before the start of that week's draw).
This league allows for a maximum of 6 teams (24 players).
All players register as individuals. Teammates may be requested during sign-up. The League Drawmaster will do their best to honor these requests.
DRAW TIME: Sundays at 9:00am

ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Sunday Afternoon Doubles highlights the newest format of curling, which features two-player teams. While games in this doubles league are casual and friendly, players should know the rules of the format when they arrive to play to keep the game moving at a proper pace.
All curlers are asked to demonstrate proper on-ice etiquette. This includes practicing 'ready curling' to keep the game moving at a good pace. Every week we need at least two league members to arrive 20 minutes before the first draw to help sweep and run the rock box.
FORMAT: Sunday Afternoon Doubles is Open Format (allowing teams to be any comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
This league allows for a maximum of 6 teams (12 players).
The first player to sign-up must first "Register My Team" in the system to get a 'Team Code,' which they will need to share with only their teammate. The other player will need this code when they "Join a Team" so they're placed on the correct roster.
(Note: The player who creates the team must also then go back and use the code they received to "Join a Team" and complete their own registration. The system does not automatically assign them to the team they created.)
PLAYOFF FORMAT: The playoff format will be based on the number of teams that register for the league and will be announced prior to the start of the league.

All curlers are asked to demonstrate proper on-ice etiquette. This includes practicing 'ready curling' to keep the game moving at a good pace (roughly 15 minutes per end). Every week we need at least two league members to arrive 20 minutes before the first draw to help sweep and run the rock box.
FORMAT: Mixed League requires all teams consist of two men and two women, who alternate throwing order according to gender. Games will consist of 8 ends.
Registration Notes (PLEASE READ) – Curlers will register as an individual and you will list any teammates you want to curl with. Priority will be given in forming teams in the following order:
- A team of 4 curlers that list all members of their team (requiring two curlers of each gender).
- An individual curler that lists at least one curler of the opposite gender in their registration.
- An individual curler.
Note that no teams will be formed that have more than two members of the same gender. The Draw Master may form a team of three curlers so long as there is at least one member of each gender.
PLAYOFF FORMAT: This will be announced within the first two weeks of play, based on the number of registered teams. Each team will be expected to complete a Draw Shot Challenge during regular session play, which will be used as a tie-breaker during playoffs.

ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Competitive league is open to all experience levels; however, in this league, players are expected to understand and practice proper curling etiquette during play. This includes maintaining Pace of Play (approximately 15 minutes per end). Windy City Curling reserves the right to institute a 'bell system' (AKA - timed games) at any point during the league, if games are found to be taking too long.
FORMAT: Competitive League is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
There is a maximum of 13 teams allowed for this league. Teams are self-formed, and participants are encouraged to recruit players from within the club membership to form teams.
The first player to sign-up must first "Register My Team" in the system to get a 'Team Code,' which they will need to share with only their teammates. All players will need this code when they "Join a Team" so they're placed on the correct roster. Teams are allowed to register with five players.
(Note: The player who creates the team must also then go back and use the code they received to "Join a Team" and complete their own registration. The system does not automatically assign them to the team they created.)

ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: Thursday Evening Over/Under 3 League is designed to 'level the playing field,' so to speak. This league is designed to pair newer players with "seasoned veterans," meaning players both old and new to curling are highly encouraged to sign-up. This is a great entry point for players fresh out of Rookies League!
All efforts will be made to have two curlers with less than 3 years of experience and two curlers with 3 or more years of experience. Further, one over curler will be skipping and the other will be playing front end to help coach the newer curlers. Please include your years of experience in the teammate request field when registering (in addition to teammate requests).
All curlers are asked to demonstrate proper on-ice etiquette. This includes practicing 'ready curling' to keep the game moving at a good pace (roughly 15 minutes per end). Every week we need at least two league members to arrive 20 minutes before the first draw to help sweep and run the rock box.

ABOUT THIS LEAGUE: This is a recreational league suitable for all curlers. Players sign up individually (you may request players you want to play with) and the Draw Master will put you on a team.
This league is a great jumping on point for newer members that have completed a rookie league as it has a strong social aspect and is great opportunity to meet new members.
All curlers are asked to demonstrate proper on-ice etiquette. This includes practicing 'ready curling' to keep the game moving at a good pace (roughly 15 minutes per end). Every week we need at least two league members to arrive 20 minutes before the first draw to help sweep and run the rock box.
FORMAT: Friday Happy Hour is Open Format (any mix/comination of genders). Games will consist of 8 ends.
