WINDY CITY CURLING's SKILLS CAMP IS BACK!
Taught by Curling Professional and Coach Brian Chick & Champion Curler Jamie Sinclair, and more (TBA)! 

DETAILS: Join us at Windy City Curling the weekend of September 5-7, 2025 for an instructional curling skills & drills camp designed to improve all aspects of your gameplay. Through on-ice and warm-room sessions, this camp will cover ways to improve your delivery, calling a better game as a skip, how to communicate more effectively as a team, ways to prepare for a competition, and more!

The camp runs Friday evening, Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning (until about noon-or-so). In short: it follows the timing of a typical weekend bonspiel.

CLASSES OFFERED: While some classes will be taught to the whole group in the warm room, others will get out onto the ice and break everyone up into groups based on experience.

"Newer” curlers (four years of experience or less) will be taught how to "breakthrough" into an intermediate level of skill by locking down the basics of the game, and forming healthy habits to make you a better player. (Sample topics include: honing your delivery, improving your sweeping, weight judgment, timing rocks, etc.).

Capable curlers (five years of experience or more) will go deeper into the mental and physical aspects of the game. (Sample Topics include: skills drills to practice, how to work as a team, improving your competiton mindset, etc.).

In addition, some sessions will offer “elective” classes so campers can pick a topic they'd like to learn more about. These may include: delivering on line and release,strategy, mental preparation, team dynamics, angles, and more! Food and snacks, educational materials, and plenty of social time with the coaches is included.

PRICING: $400 per person. Your $125 deposit secures your spot in the camp, and the remaining balance will be invoiced to you once registration closes.
