• WCC's Club Championship bonspiel runs Wednesday-Saturday (based on the number of teams). Wednesday & Thursday night draws will be held at 7:00pm (each team should ONLY play one night or the other, not both), with the rest of the games taking place Friday and Saturday.  The Championship Final will be at 7:00pm on Saturday, May 4th, 2024.
• The WCC Championship is Open team format (any mix/order of genders)
  • Players do NOT need to have played together throughout the '23-'24 season (so feel free to mix it up!)
• The exact bracket/pool play format of the week will be based on the number of team entries
  • The Club Championship is limited to 16 Teams maximum
  • NOTE: If an odd number of teams (or more-than 16) register, a one-game play-in to the bracket among the lowest-seeded teams will be held the Monday or Tuesday before the rest of the event (day to be based on team/ice availability). The eliminated team(s) will receive a pro-rated refund.
• Only full teams of four qualifying players may register (no individual entry allowed; we will not be matchmaking teams)

  • The sign-up was built this way so the event stays internal to Windy City Curling members only

• Each individual player needs to earn at least four (4) Championship Points throughout the '23-'24 WCC season
• Teams will be seeded based on the total number of Championship Points earned by all members of the team

• How to earn Championship Points
  
  • Play in Leagues! - This is the main way everyone qualifies; by simply playing at Windy City Curling
    • One (1) point is earned for every league played in each session
    • One (1) point is earned for playing in a Rookies League (NOTE: Signing up for multiple Rookies leagues does NOT earn multiple points)
    • Two (2) points are earned for playing in a Competitive League
  • Bonus Championship Points will be awarded at the end of qualifying leagues that held Playoffs (i.e. - Competitive League, Mixed League, Doubles, etc.). 
    • The exact distribution of points will be based on the total number of teams in the given league, with Competitive League weighted to offer more (since it spans two sessions). 

The current number of Points earned by everyone will be calculated and posted closer to the end of Session 3!
