2023 Founders Cup

The Founder's Cup is back!  

Windy City Curling's version of the Stanley Cup is up for grabs in this year's Founder's Cup Spiel.  Play to get your name engraved on the Founder's Cup trophy and be able to keep it until the end of the season.   

The Founder's Cup is an open format bonspiel available to any current member in good standing (Anyone who purchased a 2023-2024 membership). The winners will have their names added to the Founder's Cup and be able to keep the trophy until the end of the season. The tournament will be a 16 team spiel to be held Friday, October 27th thru Sunday, October 29th. (Please Note: If demand is high and we go above 16 teams, additional Thursday night draws may be added). The first 16 teams to register will receive a place in the tournament and a chance to claim the Founder's Cup.

Cost: $200/Team - online payment only, individual sign-ups are welcome as well.  We will use individual sign-ups to fill out teams as well as create additional teams.

Format: 3 game guarantee - bracket and draw schedule will depend on final number of teams

Please note: The team captain will be invoiced for the full team cost. The other members of the team do not need to register.

Food: Dinner on Friday and Saturday night will be provided. Players will be responsible for their other meals. Please email info@windycitycurling.com if you have any dietary restrictions.
